Governance Integrity Officer

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Governance Integrity Officers who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within the state government sector.

About your new role

3-4 days a week (Part time)

The Governance Integrity Officer will coordinate the response to a major independent performance audit focusing on the organisation's efficiency, effectiveness, and economy. This involves managing information requests, serving as the day-to-day contact for a private auditing firm, scheduling meetings and uploading documentation.The role is an independent governance role that is not part of a team

What you will need to exceed

• Proven ability to manage and coordinate responses to both independent performance audits and the organisation's internal audit function

• Experience coordinating the receipt and allocation of information requests, uploading documentation, and acting as the primary day-to-day contact for external and internal auditors.

• Skill in scheduling meetings, walk-throughs, and providing related governance advice throughout the audit process.

• Ability to manage multiple audits concurrently.

• Extensive experience identifying and mitigating strategic and operational risks.
  Demonstrated ability to maintain a Strategic Risk Register.

• Proven capacity to coordinate and chair a Risk Champions group.

• Experience undertaking/supporting risk assessments and revising the annual risk maturity self-assessment
